lyrics

Television
It eats me raw
It wires shut my jaw
This butterfly

And this summer
It makes me aware
Of the sandy blonde bangs you brush away
From your eyes

Now that wasn’t very polite

And this wall
It puts me off
It makes me crawl
Straight into a headlock

And I saw you absorb
The strainings
Consume the drops
When my mouth froths

Now that wasn’t very polite

And I miss
The autumn, it all
The bottom of the beginning
Of our fall

And comfort
Is what I sense
A feeling that I receive
Through my descent

Now that wasn’t very polite
